OUR SERVICES TO THE UNDER PRIVILEDGED

To fulfil the aim of serving the needy section of the community, National Cultural Association provides facilities at :

Vidyasagar Sishu Academy, Rabindra Sarovar -

  • Creche service : 5 days a week for working mothers of the adjoining urban slum area. Children are provided toys, playing materials, nutritive food and medicine.
  • Non formal school imparting free education to 112 under priviledged children with facilities for games, painting and singing.
  • Vocational Training in looms, Knitting and Sewing Machines for the grown up girls of the urban slum for self employment.

Ankur, Regent Estate, Jadavpur, Kolkata -

  • Medical Clinic - Allopathy and Homeo with free medicines to the needy including facilities for ECG and Pathological Tests.
  • Job oriented Computer Training for the for under priviledged youth and Physically challenged. l
  • Children's Park

Nehru Children's Museum :

  • Financial aid is given to 170 Handicapped Children for continuing their studies and Vocational Training.
  • Vocational Training in Home Nursing, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration for the underpriviledged youth.
  • Scholarships to meritorious needy students.

You can join us to help the needy section of our society

  • By sponsoring one handicapped child with Rs.1200 for one year..

  • By sponsoring one candidate for vocational training with Rs.1200 for one year.

  • By donating Rs. 2500 per month or Rs .275 per day for providing nutritive food to 100 bustee children at Vidyasagar Sishu Academy, Rabindra Sarovar.

  • Donation to the Corpus fund. A handicapped child will receive scholarship from the interest accrued from this fund. We presently award scholarships amounting to Rs.1.50 lacs to 170 handicapped, blind and poor children from donations received from individuals, organizations and trusts.

** Donations enjoy exemption under section 80G of Income Tax Act 1961.
** Names of all donors over Rs. 2000 are displayed at Nehru Children's Museum for
    two years.
